As of the 1st of July 2007 driving instructing in Ireland has changed forever. You now have to sit a three part exam facilitate by the Road Safety Authority (RSA).
Here at Independent School of Motoring, we are a highly successful Driving school and we train our Instructors and pupils to a very standard and because of this we have a 98% Pass Rate in the Driving Test. We are now offering you the chance to obtain our knowledge and experience in our Specialised Driving Instructor course.
The course is designed for people who want to pass the RSA exam and become a registered driving instructor(RDI). The course is run for 2 weeks from 10am to 5pm.(we can make the course flexible to suit your needs speak to us regarding this). One of the features of this course is one on one tuition, which makes us stand out from other driving instructor courses.
It is a very intensive program and is in 3 parts :
1) Theory 2) Practical Driving 3) Instructional ability.
At the end of the 2 weeks you will sit an exam which is similar to the RSA exam. We will have trained you up to the standard acceptable to apply to sit the exam for the Road Safety Authority this is a separate exam but is compulsory qualification to have if you are to start work as a driving instructor.( The cost for this exam is extra)
Over the last 12 years we are in business we have trained many instructors some who have moved on to open their own successful driving schools. We still provide back up to many of these people when required. We will also provide you with back up all the way through the RSA exam including extra training if required for no extra charge.
Cost:
€3500 A.D.I including 2 weeks intensive course training + exam + certificate.
If parts 2 + 3 are failed, we will pay for our clients to re-apply.
